About

Who we are

We are a small team passionate about helping our neighborhood businesses grow and thrive.

Why we started Elevator Street

We started this business when we noticed that many of the business owners we talk to in our area had a web presence that undersold and misrepresented the quality of their work.

What we believe

  • Local first. We prioritize our neighbors here in Oregon City and Clackamas County, the people we see every day.
  • Data-driven. Every site we build comes with analytics connected, so you can see your traffic live, how people got there, and what actions they take.
  • Built to rank. The sites we make are built on a foundation of best-practice SEO: site structure, page load speed, title tags and meta descriptions, schema, image alt text, and the rest of the technical groundwork that makes your site visible in search engine results.

Why "Elevator Street"?

Oregon City is home to the only "vertical street" in North America: the Oregon City Municipal Elevator, 130 feet tall and carrying people from the riverfront up to the bluff since 1915. The City calls that route Elevator Street, and we are named after it. If you are interested, you can read its full history here. The mission behind our work is much the same: helping to elevate the local businesses here and increase their visibility.

Who runs Elevator Street?

Elevator Street is run by two people. Levi designs and builds the technical work: websites, SEO and AEO, and the systems behind them. Steven takes care of the client relationships, handling outreach, scheduling meetups, and listening to our clients so that we can better understand their business needs and goals.

Where is Elevator Street based, and what areas does it serve?

Elevator Street is based in Oregon City, Oregon. We work with contractors, home and property service pros, and small local businesses across Clackamas County and the Portland metro area.

How many clients do you take on at a time?

We are a small local agency that only takes on a handful of clients at a time, so each one gets our full attention.
